Covid19 has been successfully treated with Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).
*So why was HCQ banned by the World Health Organization and policy officials? (See bottom of page for update.) OR - Take advantage of this update and FIND A LICENSED TELE-MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL FOR YOUR HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE PRESCRIPTION. - HERE June 1, 2020 Thanks to the "Right to Try Act" passed in May of 2018, the lives of a significant* number of Americans were saved at the onset of the Covid19 pandemic. Faced with escalating crisis and the likelihood that their most vulnerable patients would die, some doctors chose to prescribe Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) for these most vulnerable patients, mostly in combination with zinc and often with vitamin C and Z-Pack drugs as well. (*See "Reports of Lives Saved" on the Media page.) Among HCQ success stories is that of House Representative Karen Whitsett (Democrat, MI). Representative Whitsett reported a bit of good luck in obtaining HCQ , which had just been banned in Michigan as she experienced the onset of her rapidly worsening symptoms. Upon taking the drug, recovery came quickly. At a White House meeting, attended by other Covid19 survivors who were treated with Hydroxychloroquine, Whitsett spoke to President Trump directly, thanking him and relating how she had heard of the drug that saved her life while listening to him at one of his daily Covid19 press conferences. For the transgression of thanking President Trump, Representative Whitsett was sanctioned by her party, as related on a segment of Tucker Carlson Tonight. (See bottom of the Media Page under "The Politics of HCQ"). Since hearing stories of those who did, and did not get access to Hydroxychloroquine, the publisher of this website has worked to determine local availability of the drug should a problematic Covid19 infection take hold within my circle. This seemed particularly important after viewing the testimony of a nurse familiar with Covid19 tragedies in New York City. This nurse cautioned that Covid19-isolated hospital patients, denied the advocacy of barred loved-ones, faced an uphill battle in advocating for themselves, particularly as the disease progressed, often rapidly. Additionally, health professionals at the NYC facility she reported on refused to even consider Hydroxychloroquine as a treatment option (see Media page under "Preparation and Self Advocacy"). We're told that Hydroxychloroquine has worked best when taken early in the disease process. It is a significant problem that HCQ is simply not made available to Covid19 patients in a great many places. This has been the case in entire states, such as Nevada, where the Governor banned the drug in any and all cases of Covid19 infection. My doctor informed me that hospital workers would determine my treatment in the event I caught a problematic Covid19 infection. In seeking answers on whether HCQ would be utilized, I sought help from a local elected representative who was able to get through to the Lake County, Illinois health department. I learned that any access I might have to Hydroxychloroquine would in fact need to occur via prescription by my primary care physician. My doctor has since emailed (6/1/20) stating "Hydroxychloroquine is no longer being given after a study showed potential cardiac harm." The study my doctor referenced has since been called into question. (As of 6/3/20, the infamous Lancet study has been retracted. Yet much of the media has buried this retraction.) The politics surrounding HCQ means that, presently, this drug that has saved many from dying of Covid19 may not be available to me or others in my family and community. I have contacted various representatives and encourage interested parties to do the same (see the Contact page). Information on the Medical page of this website has been populated with the assistance of Laurie Marshall-Nightengale, MSc, MD of The Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) in Detroit, Michigan, which I contacted after learning of HFHS's Covid19 research. On the Medical page, readers can find ongoing clinical trials in which interested parties might participate. It is possible that research results would mean better access to HCQ. The Medical page on this site will serve as a place for posting helpful medical information as it is acquired. I am grateful for the courage of those who have risked their reputations and careers to put forth information on HCQ that powerful forces seem intent on suppressing. Sharyl Attkisson, a five-time Emmy winning journalist, first brought the HCQ controversy into clearer focus for me and many others. (See top of "Media" page for her report.) Attkisson's research aids in understanding the political dynamics and money interests that impact what drug(s) gain ascendancy and potential use - or, as with HCQ, non-use when banned, suspended or otherwise made unavailable. Attkisson's report also introduces some of the medical teams which have embarked on trials for HCQ use with Covid19. Although Randomized Clinical Trials of Hydroxychloroquine for Covid19 treatment have not been completed, it is worthwhile to note that HCQ is an FDA approved drug that has been used for 75 years, both as a prophylaxis to ward off Malaria, and as an ongoing treatment for Lupas, Rheumatoid Arthritis and other conditions. HCQ is used long term (20 years plus ) by Lupas and RA patients in daily doses higher than those typically used for Covid19. When prescribed by a physician, HCQ has long been considered to be a generally safe drug. It is available in generic versions and is very inexpensive. Attempts by the media to paint Hydroxychloroquine as a dangerous drug that is not to be even considered in battling Covid19 has been biased, reckless and responsible for loss of life. Thankfully, courageous doctors are starting to step forward to challenge the reckless and politicized narratives and offer hope amid the Covid19 scare. *NOTE - As of 6/3/20, the World Health Organization has announced their reinstatement of Hydroxychloroquine as a drug to be tested, alongside others, for possible treatment of Covid19. This turn of events is undoubtedly related to a groundbreaking story by The Guardian, also published on 6/3/20, which uncovered a corrupt key data source used by leading medical journal publishers. The corrupt data served as the basis of Covid19 policy. Both articles are listed at the top of the Media page under "Groundbreaking". Further developments including the censorship of doctors promoting HCQ can be located on the Media page under "Updates" and on the Medical page under "Censorship". |
